orn in South Africa, my culinary philosophy offers a contemporary take on Mediterranean and Asian cuisine. Immersed in diverse cultures, markets, and kitchens, I learned early that great private dining is about translating a sense of ’place’ to the plate, whether for a yacht itinerary, a villa stay, or an intimate private residence.Over a sweeping 20-year career, I have dedicated myself to mastering both classical techniques and modern execution. This includes a defining decade acting as Head Chef aboard the M/Y Rising Sun, where the standard of service is uncompromising and precision is expected at every meal.
